But since you are like lukewarm water,
neither hot nor cold,
I will spit you out of my mouth!
Note: This article is written from the perspective of one who has been involved with the Pro-Life movement for years on the ground, in front of Planned Parenthood, marching for Life in the Streets, helping to create effective side-walk counseling, working to provide shelter and support for women who decided to keep their babies rather than abort them but needed help in the process, and helping to create recuperative counseling for post-abortive mothers and fathers who often suffer from suicidal tendencies, substance abuse and depression.
If the provider was a licensed health care professional, the penalty would include the loss of their license which is the same for any illegal medical procedure that is performed. Worse case would probably be a manslaughter charge of some severity. Beyond that is pure conjecture and probably a flight of fantasy.
Obviously confusion is one of the purposes. Younger children are entering puberty and are dealing with physical changes that will surpass any that they will ever experience. The questionnaire is poised to raised questions in the minds of the children without supervision, control or input from their parents.
You may have heard of this Mosquito transmitted disease that causes microcephaly referred to as the Zika Virus. This virus can cause babies to be born with an abnormally small head and a shortening of the infant’s life expectancy. Brazil is now experiencing an infection t0tal of 3,718 cases where 68 babies have died. Planned Parenthood’s goal is to kill as many of the 3,718 babies as possible!
Planned Parenthood is using this tragedy to attempt to change the anti-abortion laws in many of the South American countries who MAY, or may not, see a rise of this disease in their countries. El Salvador amended its constitution in 1999 to recognize the right to life from the moment of conception. Several other South American countries have laws prohibiting any form of abortion. Planned Parenthood International is promoting the legalizing of abortions through statements such as “Governments cannot, on the one hand, discourage pregnancy, while at the same time limiting their commitments to and funding for family planning and access to safe and legal abortion,” by Dee Redwine, Latin America regional director of Planned Parenthood Global.
This incursion by PP is happening in South America now. The entire Christian World, and especially Pope Francis, needs to step up and support the Pro-Life laws that are being enforced in South America now. PP is putting a lot of resources into this region to spread their Culture of Death. Their infanticide scheme is support by none other than our United Nations!
The United Nations agreement called the Montevideo Consensus on Population and Development urges states where abortion is illegal “to consider amending their laws, regulations, strategies and public policies relating to the voluntary termination of pregnancy in order to protect the lives and health of women and adolescent girls, to improve their quality of life and to reduce the number of abortions.”
You read the last 6 words of the last paragraph correctly. By making abortions legal, you will reduce the number of abortions. Only PP and the UN could have the gall to make this asinine statement.

In the first article discussing “Nostra Aetate”, we put forth the basic points of discussion regarding the newly released Catholic Church talking points on why Christians should not convert followers of Judaism to Christianity. Since publishing this article, I reached out to a friend I admire greatly who happens to be a Messianic Jew. I asked his opinion regarding the Catholic Church’s discussion regarding the lack of the need to evangelize the followers of Judaism to convert them to Christianity. His insights served to confirm lingering questions on my part regarding this latest missive regarding Nostra Aetate.
The Short Answer:
The Jewish people are indeed God’s chosen people and their salvation is covered in the Old Testament promises from God to Abraham: Genesis 15: 18-21, “On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your offspring I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates, the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites and the Jebusites.”
But, since the Old Testament, and the Torah, all predict the coming of the Messiah from the House of David, then the Jews must accept the fact that Jesus Christ was the Son of God and their Messiah, or the New Testament must be a false document to them. Without Jesus being the Messiah, the concept of His Death on the cross that paid our sin debt in full, and established a new Covenant with the Gentiles. must be false. In order for the Old Testament, the Torah, and the New Testament to be true, followers of Judaism must accept Jesus Christ as their Messiah.
Below is a link to an article by Dr. Michael Brown entitled. “The Vatican is wrong: Jews do need Jesus”. It is a short read but will serve to substantiate the points made above.
We have all learned how Christ instructed us to pray to our Father by saying the “Lord’s Prayer” as given to us in Matthew 6:9-14 and in Luke 11:2-4.
If you have someone dealing with sickness, loss of a loved one, experiencing financing difficulties, or difficulties with their children or others, this prayer is perfect. It is a simple prayer that you can put on a 3×5 card until you have it committed to memory. Obviously, since this prayer is in the scriptures, you can use whatever Bible translation that your prefer.
Wishing you and your loved ones a very Blessed and Merry Christmas

Note: The “Commission for Religious Relations with the Jews” stresses that this document is not a magisterial document or doctrinal teachings of the Catholic Church but is a reflection prepared by the Commission. In short, it is food for thought. The entire text can be found at: COMMISSION FOR RELIGIOUS RELATIONS WITH THE JEWS
Yesterday, to mark the 50th anniversary of the publication of Nostra Aetate, where the Church asserted that Jews were not responsible for the death of Jesus Christ, the Vatican released a document entitled “The Gifts and Calling of God are Irrevocable”. In the document, the Vatican stated:
Behind this pronouncement is “… the unique status of this relationship within the wider ambit of interreligious dialogue, theological questions are further discussed, such as the relevance of revelation, the relationship between the Old and the New Covenant, the relationship between the universality of salvation in Jesus Christ and the affirmation that the covenant of God with Israel has never been revoked, and the Church’s mandate to evangelize in relation to Judaism.”
This can be summarized as:
So, are the last two point contradictory?
This Covenant was developed over time and Abraham was instrumental in this role. In Genesis 12: 1-3, God created the nation of Israel through his promise to Abraham, “Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Then in Genesis 15, God and Abraham explored how the nation of Israel would be formed and developed through Abraham and Sarah’s own son and not through Ismael, Abraham’s first son with his servant. In Genesis 15:5, God said to Abraham, “And he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” In Genesis 15: 18-21, “On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your offspring I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates, the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites and the Jebusites.”
In Romans 11: 1-6, God reaffirmed his continued covenant with Israel: “I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me ? And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal. So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.” In John 4:22, Christ Himself said, “You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.” Then in Romans 11:29, Paul wrote, “for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable“. This was in answer to his own question as to whether God could reject his own people and thus break his covenant with them.
The conclusion of the Commission then was that the Covenant between God and Israel, as Israel being his chosen people and who were sealed, survived the new salvific teaching of the New Testament.
Christians believe that it is only through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ that we are saved. There are several passages that relate to the need to accept and believe in salvation through the blood of Christ:
In “Nostra Aetate”, Jews and Gentiles are analogous to a “well-cultivated olive tree onto which have been grafted the wild shoots, the Gentiles.” The Jews and Christian sharing the same belief in the One True God and the Torah and the Old Testament having shared belief systems.
On 13 April 1986 Saint Pope John Paul II expressed this situation in these words: “The Jewish religion is not ‘extrinsic’ to us but in a certain way is ‘intrinsic’ to our own religion. With Judaism therefore we have a relationship which we do not have with any other religion. You are our dearly beloved brothers and, in a certain way, it could be said that you are our elder brothers.”
Pope Francis has made several overtures towards mending the fences between the Catholic Church and the Jewish community. His recognition of the State of Palestine was not viewed as an act of a friend by Israel. Whether Pop Francis can walk a fine line between the international politics of the Israeli-Palestinian issues and the spiritual issues regarding God’s Covenant with Israel and the salvific belief in Salvation through the Blood of Christ remains to be seen. My sense is that both issues will require a lot of prayer and reflection.
Did you know? In California, a girl under 18 years can’t get a flu shot, a cavity filled, or an aspirin dispensed by the school nurse without a parent knowing. BUT a surgical or medical abortion can be performed on a minor girl (under 18) without even informing one parent.
Parental Notification will require that a parent be notified at least 48 hours before an abortion is performed on his or her daughter under the age of 18 (with a judicial bypass for cases of parental abuse).
Robert Dear’s appearance today in a Colorado court was colored with this outburst by the defendant. Dear’s other outburst included that he acknowledged that he was guilty and he was “warrior for the babies”. His attorney addressed the court by saying “I think the problem is obvious.”
The court appearance was not intended as a plea hearing but to discuss motions and the continued sealing of evidence taken from the home of the shooter.
The court has sealed all of the evidence seized at the home of Robert Dear so one would have to assume for now that Dear became agitated at the abortion provider due to his disdain for abortions. Eventually we will find out whether Mr. Dear is mentally capable of standing trial. His attorney point to Dear’s court outbursts today as evidence that Dear is not competent to stand trial. If he is incapable of being tried, this will be yet another case of a mentally ill person not receiving the care he needed and the lack of protection of the public against his actions.
Dear’s attack on Planned Parenthood in no way reflect the feelings of those in the pro life community. Do we oppose abortion? Absolutely. But, to take the lives of others in support of a pro life position is senseless and contradictory on its face. Many pro life supporters define pro life as the sanctity of life from conception to grave and include those executed by lawful death penalty procedures.
The left has attempted to silence the pro life movement as being responsible for this shooting due to their opposition to abortion clinics such as PP. Specifically for the airing of videos of executives and managers of PP clinics discussing the sale of harvested baby parts as part of the abortion practice. Even the head of PP has made a statement that PP would no longer PROFIT from the sale of baby parts. She did not say they would stop harvesting the baby parts nor REFINE their procedures in order to preserve as many body parts as possible.
Those of us who believe in the sanctity of life will continue to lawfully oppose and lobby against abortion. There have been 58, 500,000 abortions since the Roe v Wade decision in 1973. Of those, 7,000,000 or 12% were performed by Planned Parenthood. By the end of today, another 2,300 babies would have been killed by abortion.
